BradT Posted October 29, 2008 #26 Posted October 29, 2008 (edited) my son was home, for two days, so i had him put my monitor and keyboard, down here on the floor, so i could use them! spent the last three days, flat on my back, on the floor. jt Now that is dedication to the site. My back goes out once in a while but i have more problems in the neck. C4-C5 is herniated and it can sure act up some days. Goes through the right shoulder right down to the finger tips. Somedays can not even pick up a coffee cup. I pcik up the beer with my left hand when this happens. BRad Edited October 30, 2008 by BradT
hipshot Posted October 30, 2008 Author #27 Posted October 30, 2008 Well. today, i dragged myself in to work. had two lifts, to make. the boss won't let ANYONE but me, operate his boom truck. after a couple of hours, i felt pretty good! lifts were not heavy, but both were pretty "tight", precision wise. pulled 'em off, without a hitch! just jt
Dano Posted October 30, 2008 #28 Posted October 30, 2008 Me too. Got the neck thing going, C5 & 6 deteriorating from plowing my noggin into rafters and crawl space joists, lower back for pickin s**t up I shouldn't have. Chiro took a look at my neck xray and never even called me back! As long as I can take a couple Tylenol in the morning and get loosened up, I'll STILL take on my 16 yr old (same size) in a wrestlin' match! Old age and treachery wins every time!! Dan
Rich99 Posted October 30, 2008 #29 Posted October 30, 2008 Yep....Here too L4 L5 degenerative discs and I have had it so bad (like a month ago) that I couldn't even walk. Every morning I stretch at work for about 15 minutes before we have out maintenance meeting, and then again before I go home. Sure do wish that God would have made the human body like a car with new replacement parts The good ol "Bad Back Club", but since I bought an inverted table where I hang upside down at around 40%, it puts my back right back into shape if I happen do put it out or it gets sore. They say thats all you need, you don't have to hang completely upside down. So if you could get one of these, it'd probably work better than doing stretch's.
