Double D Posted October 26, 2008 #1 Posted October 26, 2008 Did anyone else get their 09 Star Calendar? I hate to say it, but I am not a fan of choppers so this calendar will go in the work shop when the dust will cover it up.
tazmocycle Posted October 27, 2008 #2 Posted October 27, 2008 i got mine and thought there maybe a venture on it, butttt nothing but custom built choppers. they should go back to a 50/50 mix.
Gray Ghost Posted October 27, 2008 #3 Posted October 27, 2008 I got mine, but again since there are no regular bikes, I am not real interested in it.
wizard Posted October 27, 2008 #4 Posted October 27, 2008 The earlier calenders had bikes build by the individuals who rode them. It would seem this years calendar has bikes which are built by the pros for a great amount of money, for show only, not to be ridden, kinda like the old calendar girls. Did you notice there is no hole stamped in the calendar where you could hang it from a nail?
mini-muffin Posted October 27, 2008 #5 Posted October 27, 2008 We got ours too. Yep all fancy custom bikes. Margaret
86er Posted October 27, 2008 #6 Posted October 27, 2008 I was surprised to get mine, but haven't had time to look at it. From what I hear now, I guess I don't need to hurry!!!
Lone Eagle Posted October 27, 2008 #7 Posted October 27, 2008 Got mine - trying to figure out whose headlight that is on the cover bike - that sure looks cool
Yamaman Posted November 18, 2008 #8 Posted November 18, 2008 Did anyone else get their 09 Star Calendar? I hate to say it, but I am not a fan of choppers so this calendar will go in the work shop when the dust will cover it up. ALL Customs? Not even the brand new VMax? That's incredible.
Eck Posted November 18, 2008 #9 Posted November 18, 2008 Got mine and it went in the trash........not impressed at all with it this year.
Older... Posted November 18, 2008 #10 Posted November 18, 2008 Got mine and it went in the trash........not impressed at all with it this year. Same thing, straight to the trash.
rosebud Posted November 18, 2008 #11 Posted November 18, 2008 Trash it, nope not me - I regift it! One of the men I work with loves hanging them in his work area. So after NEWTrk flips through it, I then regift it as a thoughtful gift to my co-worker. Remember when the economy is down you have to be creative with the things you don't want, need, or like - regift them!:whistling:
