2nd Gen speakers

I came across a pair of 61/2 Kenwoods.

FLB, did they make a big difference to sound quality ?

I think so. I can turn it up louder with less distortion. These speakers would probably greatly benefit from some kind of enclosure or some padding around the backside.

I just got a set of Pioneers G1042R to change out tomorrow on my scoot.....

I've got the Polks in the front of my RSV and I think they sound alot better than stock... More Bass and better treble than stock... I gotta get another pair for the rear... If you shop around and want to change all the speakers you can get the 2nd pair for 1/2 price

I'd be interested in how that all goes Skid. i can get a bit of a deal on them very same speakers . being that all my riding mates all have loud pipes ,id like to have a louder stereo

I put in a couple of sets of the Pioneer's and they made a big difference. In the front I put a set of speaker baffles and that made a big difference to the sound. I have a pair of bass blockers but I havn't installed them yet....winter project.
