Squidley Posted October 23, 2008 #26 Posted October 23, 2008 I bought the '08 on July 5th I have over 9000 miles on it now. I dont know how many miles I put on Muffins bike before he got it or the '86 I sold to Kbran. But I would dare say I'm above 12000 with the 2 days we rode the '99 before the big bang
Sleeperhawk Posted October 23, 2008 #27 Posted October 23, 2008 A little under 26k for the year and still 2 months to go. I could almost buy another bike for the amount I paid in gas and lodging this year. But it was well worth the price
pegscraper Posted October 23, 2008 #30 Posted October 23, 2008 Best I can tell I did around 7000 miles this year. That's about half of what I did the previous two years.
MidlifeVenture Posted October 23, 2008 #31 Posted October 23, 2008 1000 miles on my venture i bought on 9/15/2008. Not bad for six weeks ?all ready had the rear end creak and thanks to vr it was in and fixed in no time.:clap2:
wkoepke Posted October 23, 2008 #32 Posted October 23, 2008 boy do i feel like a lightweight, we've onlt put on about 5500 miles so far this year. but the year is not over yet!!
stvmaier Posted October 23, 2008 #33 Posted October 23, 2008 Last year I was happy about putting 3500 on my VTX, sold it this spring and got my RSV at the end of may...6700 grinnin' miles. Not much riding time left here in the Chicagoland area.
FutureVentures Posted October 23, 2008 #34 Posted October 23, 2008 6820 since May when I picked her up, but it's getting cold now. Still, hope to get maybe, another 500.....
keithert Posted October 24, 2008 #36 Posted October 24, 2008 I remember the pre-kid years when I put 15,000 a year on my RSV. I even managed to put 13,000 on my Nomad it's first year. This year I've put 2800 on the 2 bikes I've had this year. I'll do more next year.
ridgway1 Posted October 24, 2008 #37 Posted October 24, 2008 Ive put on about 12,500 so far. Im hoping for mild weather for the rest of the year.If somaybe another 2000. Chris:thumbsup:
waterbug Posted October 24, 2008 #38 Posted October 24, 2008 I bought a honday 1100 sabre early this yr and put around 4k on it before I traded it for the 08 rsv and we have about 4k on her now.Kevin
cecdoo Posted October 24, 2008 #39 Posted October 24, 2008 Around 11K, was out today, if it stays nice mite get a few more, Craig
dr_bar Posted October 24, 2008 #41 Posted October 24, 2008 Bought it new in Feb this year, and put on 27,000+ km. So about 16,777+ miles there abouts and still counting.
Carbon_One Posted October 24, 2008 #42 Posted October 24, 2008 11 k + since April. Might get some more in before the weather shuts me down. Right now I'm a busy beaver getting a kitchen/utility room remodeled so that's taking away what decent ride time is left as well. Hope to do much better next year thou. Larry
RedRider Posted October 24, 2008 #43 Posted October 24, 2008 9500 so far. Leaving Saturday for a trip thru the Smokys and NC. Should be another 2000 miles or so. Good year. RR
BradT Posted October 24, 2008 #44 Posted October 24, 2008 I got just over 10,000 miles this season (since May) and have had the bike for three seasons and just over 30,000 since I bought it. We have seasons here, not a full year. With the weather forcast, I doubt I will get another tank or two this year. BRad
Leadwolf56 Posted October 24, 2008 #45 Posted October 24, 2008 Put on 5500 miles on the 90 before we bought the 06. Have put 4000 miles on her since early August. That's mostly just weekends except for the Canadian rally as I don't ride to work much at all.
Jus Monkeyin Around Posted October 24, 2008 #46 Posted October 24, 2008 Since I bought the 86 in August just a little over 6200 miles. Boy does it feel good to have a bike again!!
wild hair 39 Posted October 24, 2008 #47 Posted October 24, 2008 don't know,haven't keep up with i,so maybe 40,000,one front tire,third rear tire
1sttenor Posted October 24, 2008 #48 Posted October 24, 2008 Fewer this year than normal, but about 12K.
Guest Dandy1 Posted October 24, 2008 #49 Posted October 24, 2008 Just 12,000 this year so far, getting old and lazy in my old age!
loehring Posted October 24, 2008 #50 Posted October 24, 2008 Just over 36k so far. Still a little more than 2 months left though. We don't put them up down here so we have a bit of an advantage.
