Mariner Fan Posted October 23, 2008 #1 Posted October 23, 2008 I know some of you guys put in some crazy miles this year. I got in just over 9,000 so far, but the season is coming to an end. Hope to bump that number up significantly for next year!
BIG TOM Posted October 23, 2008 #2 Posted October 23, 2008 I NORMALLY DID ABOUT 3,000 MILES WHEN I OWNED CRUISERS...THIS IS THE FIRST FULL YEAR I'VE HAD MY RSV..LOOKED THE OTHER DAY AND I'VE PUT ON ABOUT 8,000 PLUS THIS YEAR.. HOPE TO GET ANOTHER 1,000 ON HER BEFORE I HAVE TO PUT HER AWAY FOR THE WINTER..
RoadKill Posted October 23, 2008 #3 Posted October 23, 2008 I have 28,000 miles so far, but I figure can at least get another 3000 before 12/31 as long as it doesn't snow
Iowawegian Posted October 23, 2008 #4 Posted October 23, 2008 15,231 and our bike was in the shop for the month of July. They call us Mr and Mrs Crazy around here (probably because we're riding in that 30 degree weather with our snow suits on!) Don't mind being crazy as long as we're having a good time!!
Breeze Posted October 23, 2008 #5 Posted October 23, 2008 14900 there about,, still got a couple months and I am hopeful. Long as the mosquitos dont tote us off, we can handle the weather. BREEZE
Naked Rider Posted October 23, 2008 #7 Posted October 23, 2008 i got mine in June and so far i have over 6000+ and dont plan on stoping till we get snow so if you see some idiot out on a cold day in Southeast Missouri that would be me.
Guest BluesLover Posted October 23, 2008 #8 Posted October 23, 2008 About 17,000 miles on the 06 RSV before she went down and I'm hoping to get in another 2,500 on the new one while in Florida. Cheers, 06
robbitybob Posted October 23, 2008 #9 Posted October 23, 2008 I am just around 6500 between my old 2000 Ultra and the '99 RSV. hmmmmmm I need to get away more next season.
RossKean Posted October 23, 2008 #10 Posted October 23, 2008 Right around 19,000 miles so far; maybe a couple thousand more before the snow flies and they get salt on the roads. Pretty good for a relatively short riding season. Ross
ahoutzer Posted October 23, 2008 #11 Posted October 23, 2008 About 14K so far, with two months to go. I don't put her away. If I did, how would I get to work, church, anywhere?
5bikes Posted October 23, 2008 #13 Posted October 23, 2008 We don't stop here in the southwest. Will be over 22k on my 5 bikes. I rarely drive the cage.
Props Posted October 23, 2008 #14 Posted October 23, 2008 Usually put away 20K a year minimum. Got the 89 VR at the end of April and have ridden her 9500 so far... not counting the miles on the Virago.
Twenty7Delta Posted October 23, 2008 #15 Posted October 23, 2008 12,000 so far but the weather's not looking good for much more riding....
bryan52577 Posted October 23, 2008 #17 Posted October 23, 2008 6420 on Honda 1100 shadow Got RSV in July and got another 3876 on it. 10296 for a total so far, rained today didn't ride. As good as the RSV rides I will be putting on more next year!
sarges46 Posted October 23, 2008 #18 Posted October 23, 2008 Around 7500 miles. Not near enough as these were done on longer trips. If it was just local stuff I would have to say only about 2000 miles if I'm lucky. I dont take my bike to work and thats a big factor.....working for corrections and parking at the jail just makes me nervous as all get out with the bike. That and having two-three kids at home makes me cage it alot more as we just dont all fit on the bike! Marilyn has quit a few more miles this year but she rides hers to work almost every day. It doesnt bother her to park there like it does me (shes at the jail too).
Midnight Rider Posted October 23, 2008 #19 Posted October 23, 2008 Usually I get around 20,000 a year but this year I don't think I got to 1,000. AND ITS KILLING ME............. Dale
BoomerCPO Posted October 23, 2008 #21 Posted October 23, 2008 12,136 miles to date.....but I lost out on 70 days of riding due to healing from my July crash.
Redneck Posted October 23, 2008 #22 Posted October 23, 2008 well over 100k unfortunately very few on the bikes.
treeman Posted October 23, 2008 #23 Posted October 23, 2008 got my 06 RSV in May of 06. as of Oct, of 08 16,496 miles But i play alot of Golf., Fish so. i will pick it up the new year. in ill, short summer long winter.
Sling Posted October 23, 2008 #24 Posted October 23, 2008 First I'll say not enough!! I bought my 2008 RSV in Nov '07 A thankgiving gift to me. Since then I've put on 12,350 miles and enjoying the heck out of it!!
