Anyone got any ideas on where I can find Urushi Black paint to repair my saddelbag lid mishap? Yamaha dealer was totally useless as far as getting any info. Trying to keep it original.:bang head::bang head:

I dont know about OEM paint, but paint codes for all years are in venture history if I am not mistaken.

BuddyRich is right... try this http://www.colorrite.com/product/yamaha-00jw-urushi-black-urb-1793.cfm . Going to be tough to find 20+ year old colors. I looked it up 'cause mine has the same paint and was curious .

You can go to a automotive color store they should be able to get you what ever you need.
