I have been a loyal venture rider for a few years now and have been sprucing mine up since the day I got it. The one thing I still need and cant seem to find are a set of rear armrests for the wife. She thinks this will make an already awesome ride heavenly... any idea where I could obtain these hard to find after market pieces????

thanks

I see different types on Ebay occasionally. Some are well engineered, and some others are pretty cheesy looking... Nice sets bring big bucks. :mo money:

OK.....I have a set here that I bought for my first gen. Then sold the bike and trailer this spring. Noddy, a member ended up with the trailer and hitch and armrests.

They sit at my place cause he doesnt really want them. I will confirm with him if I can sell them for him and what he wants.

These are the old diamondr ones...still in good shape and will work great for mamma.

I hope be developing a set of armrests for the 1st gens this winter when things slow down, and can be ready for marketing by spring. Figured might as well build them if you can't find them. Couldn't do it without the help of a good friend, though, who provided the layout and measurements to me. We'll see how it works out.

A member on the other site, SlowrollWV (I think) has copied the TripMaster armrests for the 2nd Gen bikes and has recently converted one of those to fit a 1st Gen. They are pricey becasue of the time and materials and Chuck is a one man shop. But they are the nicest armrests you will find. I bought the second set of 2nd Gen armrests he made (he has the first set). Unbelievable quality and looks.
