CAGES.

Please explain just what the term "Cages" is in reference to. I never heard this term before joining here, and am now coming across it quite frequently. My assumption is that the reference is being made to any four (or more) wheeled motor vehicles sharing the roads with motorcycles.

 

Please enlighten.

It is from being trapped in a 4 wheeled cage... not having the freedom that 2 wheels brings.

You got it bout right. Cages are vehicles that you are encaged in or trapped in such as a car.
