dash vent

Need the right side dash vent for a '93. Mine dissapeared somehow.

Need the left side vent for an '88. Mine flew off while I was passing a line of bikes trying to get to the front to do my cornerguard duties. Heard some kind of plastic noise while passing at high speed, noticed it was gone several miles later.

Umm....one guy needs a right and one guy needs a left. I think I can help here. I have an extra set in the basement that fit my '84 and I belive they are the same for the years you guys have.

 

Let me check my numbers and see if they are and see what I paid for them and maybe I can help both of you out.

 

I can beat the daylights out of $58.00 bucks!

 

They are both in good shape and the louvers are fine. I'll need to check the mounting tabs to be sure.

 

I'll PM both of you before Sunday if your are interested.

I wish Yamaha had figured out a better way to keep those vents in the dash. On my first bike, the '83VR, one disappeared riding it home from the previous owners house. Bought another off Ebay for $25 bucks... from Pinwall I believe?? The problem is the dang tabs break off. I've started putting a dab of glue in each of the corners. Now they don't go anywhere, and are still fairly easy to remove if the louvers break.

Haven't forgot about you guys. Still got a few more boxes to go through. Thought maybe I'd label them with what's in them as a I go along this time. DUH! Never thought I'd have this much backstock for a bike in my life. Hope something breaks soon so I can use some of this stuff. (jinx) I didn't say that.
