Headset for '07 Venture - FF

Is there a good place to order headset microphones for intercom and CB capability for myy Venture? I prefer a headset for a fullface helmet.

go to main page and look under vendors i think and you will find freebird has arranged a discount with edsets...bought them last year for 3/4 helmet and they are very good and will someday get a set for full face or half helmet and then can even switch the main control if you buy 3Gen module...hope this helps

OK..I have looked and searched and see all these headsets folks use. I have yet to see a post that claim one that really works good for a half helment on a 07 RSMV.

I am concerned about mounting (does it stay mounted) and wind noise intercom mics.

 

Anybody have a perfect fit for an half helment that that he wind does not interfer with the mic's?

 

The helmets we use are made by Scorpion EXO-100. The side liner has pouches for ear speakers and zips out for summer riding. I know we probably should wear a full face helmet but I do good to get my wife to put on long pants in the summer. It gets hot down here.

I am not real sure we need the headsets for pilot co-pilot conversations but it may make music a lot better. I know we will need it for the CB use on a long trip and that may be quite useful.

I was in the same boat last year looking for set on the shortie helmets we use.

I use the same helmet EXO100. The headset fits just fine in them. But you will not be able to zip it out oin the summer. I have the cheeper wingstuff J&M headset and so far except for the crappy stereo sound I like it.

( BTW my windsock has a few burn holes in it from smoking:confused24:)

I contacted J&M and inquired about their Nolan wireless (BlueTooth) technology and they stated that it won't be long and they will have something for the Venture. They said simply keep checking their website for updates.

 

J&M has a Nolan FF with a built-in Bluetooth system...pricey around $800.00 bucks...
