16 years invested in this one. It has just gone sour the last few months. I won't run.

Ya I know 16 years is a long time invested into working at a place.

 

I just had no hope of anything ever changing due to the one guy at the top.

It was like a local infection that just spread it's little cancer cells to every person in the organizaion.

 

Time to get out or die. I just couldn't see myself spending the rest of my working carrer waking up and hating the thought of going to work and putting up this BS, especially when it was the simplest of human decencies. Like having a conversation with your boss without being talked down to, feeling you could even ask a question about what you were doing, making a change to improve things without getting permission from on high. This is why I chose to get out for my own metal heath.

I just chose to save myself.
