Freebird Posted June 21, 2007 #1 Posted June 21, 2007 I see that somebody just posted in the classifieds that they bought a '99 that somebody has put the pillow top seat on. He doesn't like it and is looking for a regular seat. Might be a good chance for one of you who are wanting the pillow top to make a deal. I agree with him though, the pillow top is WAY soft for me. I know that some of you really like them though.

WIKD Posted August 18, 2007 #23 Posted August 18, 2007 I know when I wash it the button holes hold water. Don't think it would be a problem when riding. On a seperate note I will not be able to get rid of the passenger pillow top. After 10 years of riding on uncomfortable seats of my various bikes, my wife loves the pillow top. Since I bought this bike just so she would ride with me more often I definitely want to keep her happy. Looks like I'm looking for a solo seat for me. Either that or maybe pull the pillow top apart and try to firm it up.

Great artistic quality construction and very comfy. Russell was great company to deal with - sent fabric color samples prior to placement of order. Delivered as promised, ships back quickly. I'm happy Only downside is must provide stock seat pans to build on - but fit is guaranteed to be correct:clap2:
