Check the idle speed before Carbtune

HERE is a HF multimeter with a tachometer and temperature probe for $35, but I try for coupons or sales at HF.

 

To me, HF = Caveat emptor

 

I bought this multimeter just for this purpose but it never read correctly. Got everything from 200 rpm to 25000 rpm. It went back.
