Hotel advice

My navigator and I are planning a last minute get-a-way for next week. We want to go to Hot Springs Arkansas. We will probably stay for two nights before coming back home.

 

Does anyone have any recomendations for a good, reasonable, safe place to stay?

 

And...while in the area what would be a "DON'T MISS THIS" thing to see or do???

 

Any and all ideas are appreciated.

If going to Eureka Springs, I definately recommend the Edelweiss Inn.

 

Lots of good riding in the area.

my wife and i stayed at the motel 8 across from the clarton on the lake, it was cheaper and was in good shape. or you may want to go to north of town where the hot springs are and try there. the lookout on top of the mount in town is nice. hwy 7 is a great ride up to eurika springs. checkout the iron horse stable there for a nice place to stay, he has several ride maps for local riding. just tell him you're with the ventureruiders. enjoy the ride or wait till next yr and meet a bunch of us for the international rally!!

We always stay at the Arlington in downtown Hot Springs. It is an old Historic Hotel that offers spa packages that are pretty reasonable.

 

If you decide to stay in Texas stop in Athens for the Texas Stampede. We are going to have a trip to the old Steam Railroad in Palestine, a trip to the Arts and Crafts Fair in Edom, and some great routes mapped out if you just want to ride.
