What's the prevailing wisdom with the RSTD and Roadhouse Sharkfin Slipons, to rejet or not to rejet? I'm hearing rejetting isn't necessary, I see folks on here that run them. Any feedback?

I've not tried the Roadhouse but I've tried several different mufflers and my opinion is that you will not have to re-jet with any of them.

I am running the road house exhaust. The tech where I bought the bike said re jetting woul help the bike run better. I feel like the re jetting was a good idea. Feels like it runs better. I also pluged the AIS. Good luck.

I'm running the Roadhouse slip-ons and did not re-jet. The bikes runs fine. I've never dynoed the Yamaha, or had the exhaust checked, but seat of the pants, it runs great.

I have the sharkfins too. If anything, they improved my performance without rejetting. I hear people complaining about hearing the popping on decel--which happens and hurts nothing. I enjoy the popping on decel, and I plugged the AIS to prevent backfiring. There is a difference between popping and backfiring. Love the Roadhouse sharkfins! Jim
