Were meeting up with "Coach" and his wife Linda from Ohio for some lunch. Any local who wants to make the trip chime in. We used to meet at a place called the Sly Fox on US1 South but it has since closed down. However I saw it was open again under new ownership, US1 restaurant or something like that. Its located South of the Sunshine Mall. Address is: US-1 restaurant 2842 S Ridgewood Ave (US1) South Daytona FL Time: 2PM Located on southbound Ridgewood ave (east side of roadway) If not there then Webbers Steaks is another good place, also on US1. I have never been one to pass up a chance to meet other riders or lunch. Just say when and I will try to make it. I live just about 20 miles south of Daytona and plan to be out and about all 4 days of Biketoberfest.

ZTOG is now riding a Harley and we all know he would now need at least three days to ride here from Pensacola on a HD......:crackup:so we know hes out too. Oh yea....still waiting to hear back from Earnie.....you remember Najorka!!

So, lets meet at the same place at 2 PM Sat Oct 18th.

PLUS, we will be the ones surrounded by bikini clad wimmen too, all drooling over our RSV's and stammering,,,"Harley WHO??"

Food was good and so was the company. Thanks to all who showed up. It was great seeing you all. Ran into 1-UP (ken derrett) at the Sunshine Mall. Unfortunately he was traveling with another group and was not able to attend the M&E. Lets see if my feeble mind can remember the names: JRichard and Trisha Coach and Linda Eyehook M61AMECH (Steve K) Ruffy and Jean MY HD buddies: Kevin, Joan and Her sister (feeble mind, remember?) Now there was another couple who also took some pics but ill be darned if I remember their names (yes, feeble mind again) I think his wife was named Pam. They rode a 99 and were from the west coast of Fla. I apologize for the error.

Sorry about not heading out with you to the M&E, but like you said I was riding with another group and had already made plans. I don't know about you, but I found that things were a little on the "thin" side when it came to vendors this year! At least it was on the South side of Daytona. I really didn't want to go downtown, I have had enough of messing with all the people. Must be an "age" thing. Ken:thumbsup2:
