muffinman Posted October 11, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2008 Decided to wash the SS bike today and when I was gently trying to get the bugs off the driving lights the lens on the right one decided to eject from the PIAA housing. After a close inspection I find that the left lens os loose as well and that they were put one with a very small amount of clear silicone.Hard to believe that with the cost of these things. Needless to say that I will be ordering some LED driving lights here very soon Just got to get Mini to say Ok. I would suggest that you look at yours to make sure the lens's are still on tightly. SaltyDawg Posted October 12, 2008 Share #5 Posted October 12, 2008 Why didn't you just ride it in the rain like you usually do? I thought that was how you wash your bikes. Now you have to go and spend money.

Guest ezornes Posted October 13, 2008 Share #7 Posted October 13, 2008 I bought a set of driving lights at advanced auto for $17.00 and they do just as good a job as the piaa (vastly overrated, overpriced). and it they fall apart i just go spend 17 more. i doubt whether they will give me any problems tho. and they will not tax my electrical system. good luck:Cartoon_397:
