Guest Old Iron Rider Posted June 18, 2007 #1 Posted June 18, 2007 I'm wondering if any of you are riding on the factory solo seat? Does it work well enuff for longhaulin? Or just cool for bar hoppin?
kantornado Posted February 11, 2008 #2 Posted February 11, 2008 Sorry I can't answer your question but that scoot sure looks neat runnin solo. I'm thinking though it would be comfy cause the 1300's are pretty much the same bike just the RSV has more plastic and the seat on mine is good for the long haul. Did not get mine to use as DRIVEWAY JEWLERY or BAR HOPPIN BLING. You can quote me on those:rotf: ....................................Ron
pegscraper Posted February 11, 2008 #3 Posted February 11, 2008 I don't think that's a solo seat per se. It's just the regular factory seat set with the rear seat removed. That can be done with virtually any two piece seat. The question to ask is, do you like the stock seat?

Get a hold of DAVE38X, he runs with the solo seat on his RSTD. I have not heard him complain about the seat.
Relaxin Posted February 12, 2008 #5 Posted February 12, 2008 My wife rides with the stock 'solo' seat (passenger seat removed) on her RSTD and she likes it. We've ridin a couple of 6 hour rides from NC to Va. I haven't ridden on it though. Personally, every bike I have owned I have always replaced the stock seat with a Mustang seat with the exception of the RSV. The RSV seat is THE most comfortable seat I have ridden on. IMHO....Jerry:)
