86-93 rear bag guards

OK,,,, here goes Will 1986-1993 rear bag guards work on a 1983 venture

will the bolt up or will i have to modify some part

There is a gut here down under that has swapped over from the 85 side open bags to the top opening bags. Some modification was needed. from what I remember there were some big bolt and washers visable from the inside of the paniers. He was then able to fit the crash bars and rear fender assembly. The mod did make the whole thing a permanent assembly unlike the quick release of the 83 panniers
