Bobcatpat Posted October 3, 2008 #1 Posted October 3, 2008 I'm looking at a brand new 2007. What do you think would be the lowest price I could get it for?
Bobcatpat Posted October 3, 2008 Author #2 Posted October 3, 2008 Dealer says best he can do is $13,900. What does everyone think? Can I do better?
sarges46 Posted October 3, 2008 #3 Posted October 3, 2008 Yes I believe you can if you are prepared to wait. The dealers will be getting the 09's in and will want to get the old stuff gone. Or shop around some, there should be lots of bikes coming up for sale soon....winter is coming and there are good deals to be had.
royalstarjac Posted October 3, 2008 #4 Posted October 3, 2008 Dealer says best he can do is $13,900. What does everyone think? Can I do better? I believe that is right at dealer cost. If your serious about the bike you might want to jump on it. JMO.-Jack
pick Posted October 3, 2008 #5 Posted October 3, 2008 Have a friend at work who just bought one in Wis. (we live in GA) and he got his with one mile on it for 14k. Hey, thats two additional members that I've recruited!! Do I get a toaster or sumptin?
KiteSquid Posted October 3, 2008 #6 Posted October 3, 2008 13,9 looks like a good price to me, but it has been setting a while. Get them to throw in free stuff, like a helmet and gloves, or a tube of Honda Moly60 and a case of oil and filters..... or a set of passing lamps and the mouning bar..... you get the idea. Shoot for $600 worth of stuff.... I'll sell you my '07 blue and black for that price:)
dogman Posted October 3, 2008 #7 Posted October 3, 2008 I bought my new 07 out of the crate for $12,900 at the start of this summer. Remember, if someone else buys the one you are looking at, there may not be another one left. My dealer sold out about 4 weeks after I bought mine. $13,900 is still a very good price. As kitesquid suggested, if he won't come down with the price go for add ons or the very least free oil changes. Best of luck
Bobcatpat Posted October 3, 2008 Author #9 Posted October 3, 2008 i bought mine @ 12,300.00 in may of 2007 Seriously?, Is that possible? This dealer I'm working with is telling me they are selling at a loss @ 13,900.00.
