86er Posted September 29, 2008 #6 Posted September 29, 2008 Hey, Thom, if you need a place to stay as you come thru' the Atl, let me know. I've got an extra room with a bed and a place in the garage for your ride, you're welcome to it. Just be forewarned, I crash by 9pm and I'm out the door for work at about 6am. I'll leave a light on for ya!
lonestarmedic Posted September 29, 2008 #8 Posted September 29, 2008 Just watch the driveway. It is straight down and then a 90 degree turn. Only thing to stop you at the 90 is the side of a truck. I let Todd do the driveway honors when I was there. Oh, if you ask, he has a bit of single malt hidden away. Really great riding going in and out of his area. JB
cecdoo Posted September 29, 2008 #9 Posted September 29, 2008 Have a great ride Tom, keep us updated, and stay off those highways:cool10: Craig

Thom Posted October 9, 2008 Author #15 Posted October 9, 2008 i landed in Rockport Tx. , found a place to spend the winter , even found a job already ! rode down 75 to 79 to 77 , a very nice easy ride , but i only have one problem with the great state of TX. is how many SKUNKS are there in TX and does every body have to run over them !!!!!!!!!!! it is no fun trying to dodge dead skunks pulling a trailer !!! i think i,ll start smoking again and see if i can kill my nose , i learned something new , never - never fallow a big truck . it is bad enough thay throw rocks at you but when those duells hit a dead skunk and it flys up in the air , all i can say is O'LORD please don't let it hit me !! i don't start work until monday so i am spending the wk end in Port Lavaca , if anybody is in the area give me a call 386-717-1816 Thom
