BuckShot Posted September 28, 2008 #1 Posted September 28, 2008 (edited) We arrived at our cabin Friday evening and the women fell in love with it at first sight. It took awhile to look around and get unpacked, but after that we all sat on the deck and had some liquid reftreshments. Saturday morning brought a ever so slight chill in the air,but it warmed up quickly so we were off for some breakfast and hikeing at Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls,Ash Cave and Rock House. For some reason the hills seemed bigger than they were 8 or 10 years ago.:whistling: Saturday evening we all sat around the campfire and had some more liquid refreshments, smore's, and several turns in the hot tub. It was a late evening with all the talking about the day and the sights we had seen. Everyone wanted to plan another trip as soon as possible, only longer. Sunday it was time to pack up and head for home but not before we took the women shopping at the Artisan Mall and a flee market/antique shop. We found Highway Rebel Apparel ( Classic car and motorcycle shop) but they were closed. I was glad that I had the only trailer as the wifes love to shop. Thought I would have to UPS some luggage home.:rotf: WE decided to take the 2 lanes home for some nice riding. My friends youngest son and my son did and exellent job riding on their first road trip on their sportsters. My daughter said she liked riding behind her brother, but she can't wait untill her car is paid for, so she can buy her own bike. Next time will be a longer stay for sure. Know right where Shawnee Inn is at. Was looking at it on the net, told the wife it looks better on the net than when you pull up to it. Kind of place you want to check out before you take the wife. Mine doesn;t care what it looks like, as long as its clean. The kids on sportsters is better than on crotch rockets.

Never seems like enough time or money to ride where you want. Maybe next summer..:mo money:Oh well, its only money. Heard you can't take it with you.
