StarFan Posted September 27, 2008 #1 Posted September 27, 2008 Well, finally added some pictures of my (new) Royal Star Tour Classic II 1998 that I bought in June from a very nice gentleman in Woodstock New York. Same year, model and color as the one I have back here in Iceland. Will be coming to Don´s Maintenance Day next spring to ride the bike and meet all you great people attending this website. Like I told Mini-Muffin the other day - This is a community of the greates biker people in the USA and couple of other countrys and I am proud and honored to be a member. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Freebird Posted September 27, 2008 #2 Posted September 27, 2008 Very nice. I really look forward to meeting you in the spring. Should be a great time for all.
StarFan Posted September 27, 2008 Author #3 Posted September 27, 2008 Thanks for the comment on the bike Don. It is a little funny sitting here in Iceland and looking at pictures of the bike I own but have never actually seen it or touched it. Darn difficult at times not to jump on a plane and fly over. I am trying to find a way to make time go faster so spring comes sooner but so far - no luck. But I have no doubt that I will have a great time and am just so anxious to meet with all of you people here at venturerider.org. You all stay safe and ride carefully now,,,,,,,,
Lone Eagle Posted September 27, 2008 #4 Posted September 27, 2008 Great looking bikes - both of them. Enjoy the ride once you get over here - and watch out for the pond at Don's place :rotf:
StarFan Posted September 27, 2008 Author #5 Posted September 27, 2008 Thanks LoneEagle. There seems to be somekind of a local joke going around with this pond. I have it added as "Places of Interest" in my travelling plan. Will surely get somebody to enlighten me once I am there. Is it maybe so that someone has the experience that the "Pond" is not motorcycle friendly?
Guest tessa c2 Posted September 27, 2008 #6 Posted September 27, 2008 great pics there , i have never heard of the pond not being bike friendly, but it sure is tough on garden tractors, don should just get one of those argos and install a cutting blade under it, it would save him quiet a few corners
Squidley Posted September 27, 2008 #7 Posted September 27, 2008 Looking forward to meeting you at Maintenance Day Jonas, and a nice new scoot you have there
StarFan Posted September 27, 2008 Author #8 Posted September 27, 2008 Thanks Squidley. Same here,,,, Just cant wait to meet you guys. I will stay clear of the pond,,,,,,,, Did Don drive his tractor into it?
