carb vent hose

I have a 08 RSV and just put 3k on it, I just noticed the vent tube had some gas coming out of it today? I have been smelling gas but havent seen it and I have said something to the tech the last time I took it in and they couldnt find anything. Does anyone have any ideas or is this normal? Thanks guys. No, that's not normal.

 

But when this happens, there usually a Floater Valve stuck. You can locate the the Carb which is overfloating and give the respective Carb Bowl a Tap with the Grip of a Screwdriver. That should take care of that Problem. If it comes back, you can put Seafoam or synthetic Carb Cleaner in the Gas and hopefully this will losen the Gunk up. If this doesn't help either, let the Dealer undo the Carbs and deal with the Issue under Warranty.
