Hi,

Here is another question stemming from the dive into my red bike's dash:

Is the trip odo reset rubber cover available as a spare part from Yama ? I have been to the Yama mother ship's web site and looked on the parts diagrams but I don't see it identified as an available part. Any one know?

Are there any crafty work arounds I should know about, like modifying a baby bottle nipple to act as a stand in or similar?

Thanks,

Somebody somewhere had mentioned one time that they had used the rubber pushbutton cover out of a Coleman flashlight and glued it onto the dash to cover the reset button. Sounds like a fix as the OEM isn't available.

Still no ideas, damn!

I just got a new to me dash cover for mine off eBay that still had the reset button cover on it, but when I pushed it to reset it, the rubber cover fell off. Go figure!

I've been looking at some of the marine toggle switch rubber covers thinking they may do the trick.

Also thought about maybe using a neoprene or rubber vacuum cap and a rubber grommet might due as well.
