Cinderella Posted September 23, 2008 #1 Posted September 23, 2008 leaving shortly for court.i dont think anything significant will go down today...i believe its basically for him to have to make an apearance...im kind of notted up with the thought of seeing him for the first time since that night and i hope Dale is able to control himself when he sees him. Probably no real reason for us to be there other than the fact i want him to have to see us.....to see the looks on our faces.......to feel our presence....i imagine they will set a court date for his bond reduction motion. let ya all know what happens.
Venturous Randy Posted September 23, 2008 #2 Posted September 23, 2008 Best of luck and we are thinking about you two. RandyA
utadventure Posted September 23, 2008 #3 Posted September 23, 2008 Cindy - Your family is in our thoughts and prayers continually but especially this morning. Dave & Jan

Squeeze Posted September 23, 2008 #5 Posted September 23, 2008 Cinderella, i hope they finally lock him away and forget where they left the Key. I keep y'all in my Thoughts.
Cinderella Posted September 23, 2008 Author #6 Posted September 23, 2008 well that was a waste of time.......kind of figured..... hearing continued...oct 21 9 am..........have a feeling we will go thru months of this. When they brought him in..........he sat and looked around the court room.......i know he saw me sitting there and i just glared....some attorney then was in front of him so that was about it til he got called up.....he did look like he had aged about 10 yrs. nowhere did i see anyone from his family present.....granted it was a nothing appearance but you would think someone would have been there...:whistling: the court room was very small and very crowded, most people had to stand....they just called people one by one.it was all kind of silly and very hard to hear. nothing was said about his bond reduction motion. ive never been thru anything like this...why do they drag it on and on for months on end with nothing happening? guess all i can do is let go a big *sigh* that at least i know he will sit and rot for another month. I just want him to pay and to get on with our life and its hard when all u do is wait and wait.
Cinderella Posted September 23, 2008 Author #7 Posted September 23, 2008 i also appologize if all this is getting boring and your all tired of hearing about it all....it just helps me to let someone know whats going on and to talk about it all.

BIG TOM Posted September 23, 2008 #9 Posted September 23, 2008 i also appologize if all this is getting boring and your all tired of hearing about it all....it just helps me to let someone know whats going on and to talk about it all. you never need to appologize here ..thats what we are here for..like one big family....since i retired from the sheriffs department...i took a job with the state working with a state supreme court judge...these things all take time ..i know how frustating it may seem to you...but when the end result finally happens it will all be worth it..any good judge will dot all their i"s and cross their t"s to insure the defendant is given due process..not what you want to here, i know.. But you dont want him to get off on some stupid technacality..do you?. I know how frustrating this my be for you,but trust me it will all work out. Yes it will take some time , so hang in there ok....and yes some judges posTpone cases to play golf...but thats better than having him at work when he doesnt want to be there...then every one pays..am praying for you and yours..
mini-muffin Posted September 23, 2008 #10 Posted September 23, 2008 You can tell us all you want to let us know. You know most of us want you to share and if someone doesn't want to know they don't have to read it. So share all you want. Margaret
Ozark Posted September 23, 2008 #11 Posted September 23, 2008 No apologies needed for sharing with us. Glad you can and hope it helps. The absence of anyone from his side even at a hearing says a lot about him, doesn't it. Hang tough, I'm sure there will be more delays but we'll stay with you throughout it. God Bless and Keep you and the family.
MamaMo Posted September 23, 2008 #12 Posted September 23, 2008 You can tell us all you want to let us know. Don't waste any time at all thinking like that! It saddens me, but certainly does not tire me. Not bored, but concerned. it just helps me to let someone know whats going on and to talk about it all. Anything that helps is more than OK with me!
Redneck Posted September 23, 2008 #14 Posted September 23, 2008 You could have at least taken a straw and shot him in the ear with a spit ball. Keep use posted we all want to know.
Snarley Bill Posted September 23, 2008 #15 Posted September 23, 2008 cindy, the loop holes are there to protect the innocent people. unfortionately the guilty have the right to take advantage of them. this is what you are experiencing. hopefully justice will prevail and this a-hole will get his due. this legal crap will play with your mind if you let it. i'm sure this jerk will pay the ultimate price. guys like him lose in the end. you have to try to put this behind you and move on. it's up to the courts now. we are always here for you, if you need a shoulder. bill and linda
krome rose Posted September 23, 2008 #16 Posted September 23, 2008 Let him sit in JAIL, where he belongs for another month. He's got nowhere to be, but JAIL. Let him serve more time before anyone has to be subjected to his story. He confessed. Done. BTW, I served time in the principal's office for spitballs on the bus. If you need "em...I'm a professional. You can count on me. Brandy
Squidley Posted September 23, 2008 #17 Posted September 23, 2008 i also appologize if all this is getting boring and your all tired of hearing about it all....it just helps me to let someone know whats going on and to talk about it all. Brandy VERY TRUE, I hear that other inmates just don't like "CM's" seems as tho they also have children & you don't tend to do well in jail if you are one of the "CM's". I'm in Iowa not to far away, soooo, if the system by some freak of nature would fail you, just call we can always,,,,invite:bluesbrother: "him" to the "bear" exhibit at the zoo ,,,,,,along with a bottle or two of honey:thumbsup2:. Those bears sure look mean but they sure know how to help a person out if you know where to put the honey:innocent-emoticon:. Krome Rose.....I never saw you in the Principles office? You must have went to another school? LOL

Skid Posted September 24, 2008 #24 Posted September 24, 2008 After 19 years of law enforcement, sounds like everything is pretty normal. I have lost a lot of faith in what I am protecting. Our court system is a very slow moving act......
Sweetnothing Posted September 24, 2008 #25 Posted September 24, 2008 We are here for you guys, and always will be....just picture this...think of you sitting in the court room......now look at all of us standing behind you, waiting for the judge to make his decision.....who do you think is gonna win:whistling:....we are a scary bunch:whistling: You are not done with this, so neither are we! We will be here for you as long as it takes!
