flb_78 Posted September 23, 2008 #1 Posted September 23, 2008 Hey y'all... BugFish69 was nice enough to give me a turn signal bar for my Venture (didn't even charge me shipping!!!) My turn signals do not fit on this bar. I bought my bike used and it had the driving lights. I've taken those off. Are there adapters that go between the bar and the signals? These are Yamaha turn signals and they appear to be the same as every other Yamaha turn signal built in the last dozen years or so. Any help will be appreciated. Forrest
Eck Posted September 23, 2008 #2 Posted September 23, 2008 Forrest, Posting a photo of what you actually have would be very helpfull in trying to determine a correct answer. I can post a photo later tonight after I get home for you as to what my front riding light and turn signals look like, or you can do this yourself by going into the photo section of th esit ehere and glance at the different bikes until you find a light set up as you have so you can determine if a spacer is required.
flb_78 Posted September 23, 2008 Author #3 Posted September 23, 2008 I took my driving lights off. I just want the factory turn signal bar and factory turn lights. BugFish gave me a turn signal bar, but the ends are smaller then the signals. I'm thinking there are some rubber pieces that go between the turn signal bar and the turn signals themselves.
flb_78 Posted September 23, 2008 Author #4 Posted September 23, 2008 Does anyone still have the factory turn signal bar still mounted on the bike??
flb_78 Posted September 24, 2008 Author #5 Posted September 24, 2008 Did a little researching and found that there is a "flasher dampner" between the bar and the signal. It's #23 in this here picture. Anyone got a pair of these laying around somewhere? http://webservices.motorsportdealers.com/parts/partImages/YAM/2/02/0040/0048.Gif
