Eddy Posted September 18, 2008 #1 Posted September 18, 2008 I got on my 2007 RSV this AM to come to work and notice when the forks compressed there was a squeak. Sounds kind of wierd. any thoughts? Eddie
Gambler Posted September 18, 2008 #2 Posted September 18, 2008 You sure its from the front, mine squeeks from the rear Gambler
az1103 Posted September 18, 2008 #3 Posted September 18, 2008 I find it does that when the temp is low in the morning. Goes away as it warms up. I suppose it's the seals. Occasionally happens on the back as well. I wouldn't worry.
Eddy Posted September 19, 2008 Author #4 Posted September 19, 2008 I'm taking your advice and not worrying about it because it runs like a scalded dog and handles like it's on rails. Eddie
eusa1 Posted September 19, 2008 #5 Posted September 19, 2008 :parrots:PUTHE BIKE ON THE SIDE STAND AND FULLY EXTEND THE FRONT FORKS, THEN TAKE THE BUG SPONGE TO THE THE LOWER PORTION OF THE FORKS TO CLEAN THE BUGS FROM GOING UP INSIDE THE TIN COVERS......YOUR SQUAKIN WILL BE GONE.
