hairman Posted September 17, 2008 #1 Posted September 17, 2008 Can anyone around Boone or Blowing Rock tell me if the leaves are starting to change there? I am thinking about riding to Grandfather Mountain, but if the leaves are already turning brown and falling off like here in VA I might need to find somewhere else to go. Thanks hairman

1rooster Posted September 18, 2008 #4 Posted September 18, 2008 I live 35 miles from Grandfather Mountain.Around the 1st till the 15th is the best time for the colors.Depending on what day you will be in the area give a shout and maybe we can hookup and ride, eat ,shoot the breeze or whatever.Or should that be shoot the bull?
