Freebird Posted June 24, 2009 Author #26 Posted June 24, 2009 So far, it's doing just fine. I really haven't put that many miles on it though. Probably no more than a couple of thousand. We really just haven't gotten to ride as much lately as we would like to. The big selling factor on this one is that fact that it is supposed to be VERY hard to scratch and I think it will take some time to see how well it does in that regard. No complaints at this time though.

He said they had run the wiper for over 100 hours with the steel wool scrubbing the shield and it was not scratched at all. Wonder if they every thought of making reading glasses.........?? try using micro fiber cloth instead of stealwool to clean your reading glasses:bang head::rotfl::rotfl:
Guest Saddletramp Posted June 24, 2009 #28 Posted June 24, 2009 There is a lot of comments regarding the remains of bugs coming through the clearview vent. A piece of window screen installed works wonders to remedy this situation. I merely removed the vent and placed the sreen between halves. You will have to cut for the screw holes and the latch tab. Take care to wedge the screen material over and into the groove at the top of the vent and also to align the the groove back into itself and its mating surfaces. Once the vent is reinstalled you carefully trim the screen away from the edge of the vent and you are back in business.
