Tombo Posted September 16, 2008 #1 Posted September 16, 2008 I found a reference on another forum regarding a supplier of Penske shocks for H-D motorcycles. I e-mailed and got a quick response from the owner. He quoted a price of approximately $500 and up, for a replacement shock for the RSV. I am not in the market yet but I recommend anyone considering replacing their rear shock to give this guy a look. He was very responsive to my questions. I would be interested in anyone who goes with a Penske. This is his contact info: Howard G. Messner >> 1-866-899-5962 Toll Free E.S.T. >> [/url]http://motorcyclemetal.com/ Ride on.....
Squidley Posted September 16, 2008 #2 Posted September 16, 2008 Thanks for the info Tom, can never have enough choices when it comes to the RSV
Sideoftheroad Posted September 17, 2008 #3 Posted September 17, 2008 I have e-mailed progressive and also one other place to see if they had something in the pipeline for an aftermarket shock. Progressive said "I am sorry but not at this time..... I will add this request to your monthly report for needed apps." The other place pretty much just said no we do not have anything planned. Progressive was much nicer about it. Wish I could remember what the name was of the other place. I am trying to think of other places that do aftermarket shocks.
