Cinderella Posted September 15, 2008 #1 Posted September 15, 2008 BACA is coming tonight to meet Haylie and give us some more info. they would like to have a biker name for her to be known as....only 1 person, the child Liaison, from baca will know her real name or the the specifics of what happened to her. I need some ideas for a name....i cant think of anything..... I believe they are going to give her a vest and i dont know if they put her name on it or not. heading out to get her from school and then to therapy will check in when we get back and see if ya all had any ideas...... thanks for the help !!

Cinderella Posted September 16, 2008 Author #14 Posted September 16, 2008 well thanks for all the tries........but Haylie being rather bull headed like her father.... decided she didnt like any of these.... she picked her own name........which is Kitt'N Baca is coming over as a larger group on saturday to adopt her.....they showed us a video and talked to us . She will have two members that are her main contacts that will always be available for her or go to court with her if that happens, etc. They even have a couple of the riders who have side cars on their bikes and they will let her ride with them or give her a bike escort ride to court etc. She thinks thats pretty cool. I seriously think that maybe after we get thru this all Dale and I may consider joining BACA. And those who mentioned in my first post about BACA wondering about canada having a branch, they told us that they are just starting in Canada. This is an awesome group and i wouldnt hestitate to suggest it to anyone who loves kids and hates child abuse of any kind to check out getting involved and being a part of making kids feel safe and loved

Sounds like a great group. Guess for Christmas you may want to get her a kiddie motorcycle, or not. Just a thought. Does sound like you all are gonna be in good hands. Oh you should take some pics of her being adopted, I'm sure lots of us would like to see them. Margaret

I know that St Judes has kind of become the pet place forr us to make donations to but may I suggest that maybe sometime in the future we think about possibly trying something to raise a donation for BACA? I know they can use all the help they can get for all they do for the kids and they are trying to build a place out in utah on some donated property for a safe place for parents and the kids to just get away from everything for a few days where they help the parents and the kids with coping skills and training. A sort of safe haven to relax . Just something to think about.

Now you have to finder her a Kitt'N biker patch and put it on a little girls leather biker vest.
