Eddie Fulmer Posted September 14, 2008 #1 Posted September 14, 2008 I've looked in several places for the device that lets you convert the turn signals to brake lights/running lights. I'd like to do that and was wondering what some of you that have done this on here would recommend. Thanks.
KeithR Posted September 14, 2008 #2 Posted September 14, 2008 Eddie Have a look at this type on this site. I don't have them so I can't give info. Keith http://www.electricalconnection.com/other-lighting/tsk-star&sport.htm
colesgrandpaw Posted September 14, 2008 #3 Posted September 14, 2008 that is what i hav on my 2006 venture and i like them and easy to install
dynodon Posted September 14, 2008 #4 Posted September 14, 2008 I put those on my wife's Honda Shadow Ace. We wanted more running and brake light without changing the look much. This works very well. In daylight the running lights are hard to see, but they are there. The stop lights in daytime are there well enough that I firmly believe it adds a level of safety. At night the running and new stop lights are very visible and a very good safety device. The stock turnsignal bulbs still seem to work just fine. Overall, I and my wife are very happy with the product (same as the link above). I can't go into installation as I wimped out and let a local shop install it.
Sleeperhawk Posted September 14, 2008 #6 Posted September 14, 2008 Here is the back of my bike now with the rack on the hitch. Is this bright enough ?
roadwarrior Posted September 21, 2008 #7 Posted September 21, 2008 Here's what I've got on mine. The lights are nice but it took more than a few minutes to wire correctly. There is not a lot of room to run the wire between the tail light and turn signal.
