buddy Posted September 14, 2008 #26 Posted September 14, 2008 Orange suits on a Black bike you sort of remind me of Halloween I took a photo of Peg on the ferry ride and caught Ken as well, here is Ken modeling his rain pants. You would stand out, which is the whole point right Ken....... Buddy
Stoutman Posted September 14, 2008 #27 Posted September 14, 2008 Some of you missed the excitement. About 3:00 this morning the wind blew down that big tree by the deck in the back of the motel. Here are a few pics. V7Goose is a lucky man. The tree branch only brushed his bike. I'm lucky enough as well. My truck was parked right next to the red Ford in the picture below. I decided to hook up the trailer so I moved my truck about 6:00 pm. Only 9 hours later this tree decided to give in to the leftover winds of Hurricane Ike.

Guest Dandy1 Posted September 15, 2008 #40 Posted September 15, 2008 Cyndi & I made it home about 12:30 Saturday. Thanks to Rosebud and newtrucko6 and Buddy and Peg for keeping us company on the way. We must have been riding behind the rain because the road was wet almost all the way but no rain. We really enjoyed Eureka Springs and all the folks that were there. Great bunch of people and some of the best riding place anywhere. You'all take care! Danny

Ponch Posted September 16, 2008 #45 Posted September 16, 2008 Made it home Monday about 6:30 PM. Man, Goose & Stoutman, you guys are really blessed! That was some serious wood falling between your rides. Too bad for the Aussie whose truck got sqashed though. Good ride all the way home. Tallimena was clear this trip, but no time to ride it. Hit serious storm damage all the way through East Texas. Trees and power lines don't last too long in Hurricanes. Spent the night in Jefferson, TX. We got the last room. The motel was full of evacuees from Southeast Texas. The power had just been restored about two hours before we got there. No real damage at home. Lost our fence and some shingles off the roof. Lilbit was a little road wary when we got home (1900 total miles including a pass by her mom's house in East Texas). Really enjoyed meeting all. Great rides, people, location, accomodations. What else can you want? Thanks to Bill, Buddy, Danny and Goose for the great rides. Michael, try not to blind anyone with those new road burner lights. Ponch
