Eek ! The gas prices !!!!!

i don,t know the about the gas prices elsewhere but it has gone up here 1.00 over night !! and the news people say there is plenty off gas here in Fla.

President said Texas help is ready to go. He also talked about lessening restrictions from the EPA to get more fuel in. He also talked about watching for price gouging. Said the government will be looking at prices. Don't know what they think constitutes gouging. Prices up here about .05-.15 yesterday.

some of the news media, are reporting that the upper east coast people are charging, $6.00 to $8.00 per gallon."based on replacement costs, of fuel on hand"!

Here in the Austin area prices have gone up .45 to .65 overnight.

I guess they want to get as much as they can before folks start returning to the Houston area Sunday & Monday.

 

Thanks again George W. for stating "you would not allow price price gouging" but yet allow it to happen.

I saw gas prices go up 29 cents here yesterday. I have no idea how high they are today, but I'll agree, it's price gouging.
