Hi, I need some help with a question about the windsheild on my Venture. Because its a full sheild and I can't see over the top of it I was wondering if its all right to use "Rain- X" on it. The bottle says not to be used on plastic and I wasn't sure if the windsheild is considered "plastic". If anyone knows of a similar product as this which is safe for our windsheids please let me know

thanks, Josh

We use Plexus, some guys use lemon pledge. One thing you should do is whatever you use go up and down not around. Keeps the scratches down, or fills em in. whatever I just know what the guys do with the stuff. Most guys apply with one rag and finish off with a second clean rag. Hope this helps.

If it is a Stock windshield...DO NOT USE RAIN X...It Will cloud the windshield and ruin it. If you have a Clearview Windshield as I do you CAN use RainX..I know from experience. The Clearview is a different material.

The Honda shops sell an aerosol product that is great on windshields and on the plastic body parts to clean and shine called HONDA PLASTIC POLISH. Be careful what kind of cloth you use to wipe the lexan windshied many will leave scratches like cotton towels and the paper towels furnished at gas stations.

Get a product called RejeX it was developed for use on the canopy of military helicopters.

It also works on the paint, in place of wax.

I use in on the glass and paint of my cages too.

The BEST product I have EVER used, and I have tried a LOT of products!!!

This is truly an all in one, but like any wax don't put it on textured plastic.

Use on the windshield of you bike, front and back, the face shield of your helmet and your eye glasses, glass and paint!!!!!!!

manufactures web site is HERE

If you cant find it locally the best place I have found to buy it online is HERE to save on shipping I normally buy 2 or more bottles, but a little of this goes a LONG way!!!!!!!

I purchaed a big bag of microfiber cloths at Costco in the automotive section......
