I've read about a few others that that's happened to. The first time I used the CARB II the rods almost went through roof on the right side. At the time I thought about the mercury stories and was glad they were rods...

In the instructions that I got with my Motion-Pro mercury sticks many years ago, it said that if the motor sucked in the mercury, the best thing to do is go for about a 20 mile ride right away. But the "why" this instruction brings up...I dunno.

So on yours do ya know where it went, carbs or down in the intake/ combustion chamber/ crankcase? How did you get it out?

I ran mine for a few minutes after it happened and it didnt seem to do anything different.

BTW where did you get the replacement mercury?
