I am reaching here a bit on my memory, did a search on here but didn't find it...

back in"83 I got a package in the mail from Yamaha introducing the brand new "83 Yamaha Venture, advertising stuff the normal, a map of the United States, and a square little record made of a flimsey vinyl with a 45rpm cut with a Song "Don't Follow Any One"...a Waylon Jenings type voice singing the song......any body else remember that?

I was starting College in 83 so to answer your question NO. However some of the older fellows may remember it but in Mr. Owls case he can't remember Yesterday. :rotf:

Hmm, no I was riding an 82 Yamaha 750 Seca at the time, but I was living in Hawaii. Perhaps Yamaha did think it was worth sending touring ads to someone living on an island?

You know, I just recently saw a picture of that record and brochure somewhere on the internet. I remember thinking how stupid a square record seemed.
