bmannon Posted September 9, 2008 #1 Posted September 9, 2008 I cut my windscreen down and went a bit too short, now I am getting blasted right in the eyes with the wind. If this stuff works as advertised it would be the perfect fix. Anyone used it? http://www.saeng.com/4000.htm
V7Goose Posted September 9, 2008 #2 Posted September 9, 2008 I have not personally used it, but I have seen several reports from others that said it was total garbage. Just thought I'd pass that on. Goose
Condor Posted September 9, 2008 #3 Posted September 9, 2008 I don't use it either, but they do have some interesting accessory mounts on their site...
SilvrT Posted September 9, 2008 #4 Posted September 9, 2008 The ad says..."Virtually indestructible, this trim will not fade, crack or lose its dark rich luster. " and then they advertise a product to "Protect your Investment" that says..."custom formulated to protect both shield and edging". hmmmmmmmm... makes one wonder!

You notice they also have returned stuff at $7.00 bucks a foot instead of $21.00 per?? If it's so great why are they getting returns???
jryan Posted September 9, 2008 #6 Posted September 9, 2008 I actually did use it on my 89 VR. With the windshield height, the air hit just on top of my head but my wife complained about being buffetted around terribly on one of our long trips. I saw this & thought I'd try it...what the heck. It did the job...it raised the air going over the driver about 5". She loved the ride after that & said she could actually move her head around instead of leaving it looking one way or the other. When riding solo I usually rode without it. Having the black edge took a bit of getting used to but whenever we went out on a trip I'd slap it on in 30 seconds and she liked the ride. So for me it worked great...that's all I can speak of...
